Friend ordered an iced honey almond milk matcha latte which was filled so high she spilled it while trying to put on the lid ("give them an extra star for that"). The barista and a random customer were both so nice to her offing to help her clean up. Another friend got the leg warmer latte (pumpkin + cinnamon + espresso) which was AMAZING! So smooth and warm and she said "latte art 10/10". I got this green juice that was way overpriced ($11.25!!?) and it didn't taste bad but it had no citrus so it just tasted sweet in a flat boring way. There were a bunch of ppl with notebooks or laptops doing work so I assume they have wifi, and the bathroom was so fun. There's a full body mirror on the side wall so you can check yourself out while on the toilet ;) If we're ever in the area again we're coming back!

We visited Captain + Stoker during our trip to Monterey. We arrived Saturday morning and there was already a line out the door. Fortunately, it moved fairly quickly. I don't usually order drinks with syrups; my go-to is a honey and cinnamon oat milk latte. However, when I learned that their vanilla syrup is house-made, I couldn't resist. I ordered the vanilla latte with oat milk. The latte was well balanced and not too sweet. My husband ordered a lavender oat milk latte as well as a pastry. He, too enjoyed his drink and devoured the pastry. The space is bright and airy. The staff was friendly and helpful. We went to a race at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca later that day and were glad to see Captain + Stoker had a stand there, so we visited that, too for another cup!

Went at 10am on a Sunday, super long line especially since there was a car meet outside! You can park in the lot outside or find 2 hour street parking. Ended up waiting 30-40 min. Service and staff were super friendly! We were happy with the drinks. I'm glad the Rose Dream wasn't overly sweet and you can still taste the espresso

Stopped by here on our vacay after reading good reviews on Yelp. There was a decent line on a Saturday morning, but it moved quickly. The staff was helpful in guiding us, since it was our first time. We ordered a few drinks. Matcha latte with oat milk - 3/5 wasn't warned that it doesn't come sweetened sadly and the oat milk wasn't super creamy as I would like. Pour over (can't remember the roast) - 4/5 coffee was good and tasted very floral and refreshing. Iced peach black tea - 3/5 it was fine, nothing special Vanilla latte - 4/5 seemed like a lighter espresso roast and it was perfectly sweetened. Plenty of street parking, but may be difficult to find a spot nearby on the weekends.
